  • ACCES

    Access to Notre-Dame Cathedral is free and does not require a reservation:
    from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 11:15 am and from 12:45 pm to 5:45 pm,
    on Sundays and public holidays from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.

    An accessible ramp for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users is located at both the entrance and the exit of the Cathedral.

    During the Christmas Market period, the Cathedral is open continuously from Monday to Saturday on the Place du Château side from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm.

  • ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK

    A masterpiece of the Renaissance, it is the result of a collaboration between artists, mathematicians and technicians. A film in three languages (French, English and German) is shown to explain the history of this work of art, allowing visitors to better appreciate the procession of the 12 Apostles at 12:30 pm.

    You can attend the show every day except Sundays and public holidays.

    Access to the cathedral begins at 11:30 am via Place du Château, on the right-hand side of the cathedral. Tickets can be purchased at the various stalls located at the foot of the cathedral from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, and directly at the entrance from 11:30 am onward.

  • THE CATHEDRAL PLATFORM

    Climb up to the platform of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg and enjoy an exceptional panorama of Strasbourg and its surroundings. From a height of 66 meters, admire the historic city, the half-timbered roofs, the Petite France district, and on clear days, the Vosges Mountains and the Black Forest in the distance.

    This ascent combines history and visual spectacle: the platform allows you to appreciate the cathedral’s Gothic architecture while discovering Strasbourg from a unique perspective.

    In the heart of the European district, the European Parliament in Strasbourg is one of the main institutions of the European Union.
